More than 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2015 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Approximately 1,800 students have made the Spring Semester 2015 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

At 11 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 514 graduates took center stage for Elizabethtown College's 112th Commencement. The class of 2015 boasts 77 earning their Master of Science degrees, 126 with Bachelor of Arts degrees, 282 with Bachelor of Science degrees, 15 who have earned their Bachelor of Music degrees and 14 with bachelor's degrees in social work. E. Roe Stamps IV, founder of the Stamps Leadership Scholars, was speaker.

Some 147 Coastal Carolina University students were inducted into the campus chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. The annual induction was held April 16, with Juliana Harding, assistant professor of marine science, delivering the keynote address.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average while enrolled in 3.75 or more course hours.

Hard work in high school has paid off for college-bound seniors. The following students have earned merit scholarships to attend Alvernia University this fall.

Georgia Southern University recently named 2,725 students for excellence in academics to the 2014 Fall Semester Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2014 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits. The following local students have achieved this honor:

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Fall 2014 semester. 

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Fall 2014 semester.

Approximately 2,125 students have made the Fall 2014 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

More than 1,425 students were named to The University of Scranton Dean's List, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2014 fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List.

Students serve as officers of The University of Scranton's more than 80 clubs and organizations for the 2014/2015 academic year.

Lebanon Valley College is a four year residential college and believes that an LVC education is the result of distinctively curricular and co-curricular experiences in class, on campus, and in the residence halls. Approximately 1,200 LVC students live in the residence halls on campus each year.

Lebanon Valley College is recognizing its high-achieving first-year students for receiving scholarships from the College. Among the incoming class of 448 students, 63 percent rank in the top 30 percent of their high school class; 12 students were valedictorians; 52 percent of students earned a scholarship worth half-tuition; and five students received the full-tuition Allwein Scholarship. Lawrence University awarded dean's list recognition to 691 students who maintained a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the entire 2013-14 academic year.

Students will be traveling to Wroxton College, FDU's first international campus, located in Oxfordshire, England, for the Fall 2014 semester.
